Despite how accustomed Narak appears within the pack, he has only been there for about two months. However, his bloodline is purely Cheveyo. It's just at the mere age of two weeks, his parents abandoned the pack in search of something new...something more exciting than dealing with man and mutt. They stumbled upon a pack whose customs were much more lax, much more enticing (for them anyway), and much more rewarding as the family was superiorly strong. Because of this pure blood, Narak was raised like an asset--an asset trained to kill and be able to converse in their 'council.'
Though it appears the latter training was second priority, because Narak turned out anything but a leader. He was made into a perfect soldier, and his genes became so highly wanted in that pack that they basically forced two strong females to seduce him just so he could sire another generation of good fighters for this blood-thirsty group. And he did it, though only one litter came out of it and they lied to him and told him the pups weren't his. This made it easy for Narak to leave a few months later after his parents died out on a 'mission'. He was tired of killing for fun, for them, and so he vowed to never have the chance to be treated like that again.
He came back to the Cheveyo's, telling them of his right to his pack, pledged loyalty, and above all told them lies. He is a Ranger now. A Ranger that could beat the majority of Guardians, but he doesn't want them to know that. Presently, he is most often paired with Serity or some other Ranger and works hard at his job while still managing to practice his charm--even though he doesn't truly need it.
Because of his doubt in spirits, he also doesn't feel superior as a species to the domesticated dogs...even relates on some level to them being used like he has been. He wishes this fighting didn't have to happen, and if he ever does come faced with it, he'll hold back. He's fearful of anyone seeing the true skills he possesses.
He will not be the killer wolf again.
